California, here we come! From San Francisco to San Diego, discover the breathtaking vistas of the California coastline. Scenic towns, a magnificent castle and all the glitter of Hollywood await you. Join us as we stake our claim on the Golden State!

San Francisco – The Golden City by the Bay
Your California Coastal tour begins with two nights in San Francisco, considered America’s playground for its fun activities. Also named one of the world’s top cities, San Francisco is a cultural and culinary wonderland, where the spirit of the Gold Rush continues to fill the air. From the Golden Gate Bridge to Chinatown to Alcatraz, you’ll ride the cable cars, see the world’s most crooked street and stroll around Fisherman’s Wharf. You won’t be able to resist the goodies at The Ghirardelli Chocolate Ice Cream Shop at Ghirardelli Square, and when you cruise on San Francisco Bay, you’ll leave your heart here as well.

Monterey and 17-Mile Drive
Your tour continues to Monterey, the first capital of California after it was claimed by the US. Filled with a historical past and famous for the Monterey Jazz Festival, this vibrant city will delight you with its small town charm and legendary Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf.

Ride the Roaring Camp Railroad
See California’s towering redwood forests from the window of a historic railroad. Travel by steam train along a narrow-gauge track through towering redwoods as you listen to the tales of railroading days gone by. On the Roaring Camp Railroad you’ll think you’ve gone back in time to a 1880s mining town. Imagine shopping in an old general store and walking through the streets of the Old West.

San Simeon – Home to Hearst Castle
Built by publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, Hearst Castle is known as “The Enchanted Hill” or “America’s Castle.” This magnificent estate of 165 rooms and 127 acres of gardens, terraces, pools and walkways commands an impressive view of the Pacific Ocean as well as the Santa Lucia mountain range. It took more than 30 years to develop this ranch into what is Hearst Castle today, a State Historical Monument and one of the most popular visitor destinations in California.

Solvang – Old World Charm

The word Solvang means “sunny fields” in Danish and arriving here, one feels they have landed in Denmark. Spend your free time exploring this charming town and maybe shopping in the quaint stores. You may wish to visit the Hans Christian Andersen Museum on your own, honoring the Danish father of the modern fairy tale.

Santa Barbara – Welcome to the American Riviera
Enjoy free time in this sun-drenched coastal town where you can shop along State Street, visit the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden or the Santa Barbara Art Museum.

Hooray for Hollywood!
Your full-day Hollywood adventure begins at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral, where you’ll admire the unique design, art, and furnishings. Then it’s off to the new Disney Concert Hall, home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, with its 9,000 panes of steel designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. Next, stroll Hollywood Blvd., stopping at the Highlands Complex and the Kodak Theater where you’ll get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Academy Awards’ permanent home. You’ll love seeing the legendary Grauman’s Chinese Theater, with handprints and footprints of every Golden Age star. We’ll travel down Sunset Strip on our way to the historic Farmer’s Market, where you can enjoy lunch on your own. The Farmer’s Market now features a trolley, gourmet shops, and a town center.

Mission San Juan Capistrano – The Jewel of California Missions
Mission San Juan Capistrano is a historically significant site which brought together European and Indian cultures. The Great Stone Church took nine years to build and was the largest structure west of the Mississippi. Perhaps the mission is best known for the swallows that have been migrating to the church for centuries every spring.

San Diego – Go Wild
It’s easy to go wild in San Diego, California’s second largest city. San Diego is filled with great restaurants, amazing culture and year-round great weather. Your city tour includes the quaint Gaslamp District and Little Italy. Stop at one of San Diego’s most beautiful sites, Coronado Island and enjoy dinner at Hotel Del Coronado, a National Historic Landmark on the island. The “Del” has a rich and colorful heritage with more than 115 years of fascinating stories to tell.

Make plans to join us for this exciting adventure and make your “California Dreamin’” come true!
