For

Independent touring .... you can join any day.
Day 1.Arrive Beijing.
Welcome to the Orient. You will be met by local representative
and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2.Beijing sightseeing. Today
visit the Forbidden City, whose acres of splendid 15th century halls
and pavilions graced with imperial treasures, now comprise the Palace
Museum and the Temple of Heaven.
Also visit Tian An Men
Square, the largest plaza in the world. Also visit the prestigious
Summer Palace where the emperors and empresses spent their time
enjoying the vast gardens and man-made lake.
Day 3.Great Wall and Ming Tombs.
A day you won't forget! Walk on The Great Wall of China, the only
man-made object visible to the naked eye from outer space. You will
also visit the Ming Tombs where a total of 13 Imperial Tombs from the
Ming dynasty are found.
Day 4.Beijing to Xian. Today, fly to the ancient capital of Xian, a veritable treasure trove of Chinese culture.
Day 5. Xian sightseeing.
Visit the over one thousand life-size terra cotta warriors which have
been standing guard by the tomb of Qin Shi Huang for 2,000 years. The
individually sculpted warriors may be the archaeological find of the
century. This afternoon visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the
Neolithic Banto Village. ( Change Neolithic Banto Village to Huaqing
Hot Springs.)
Day 6.Xian to Guilin. A
morning flight to Guilin, indisputably one of China's most picturesque
cities. The landscape has been the subject of Chinese painters for
centuries with its breathtaking limestone mountains, tree-lined
streets, rice paddies and the meandering Li River.
Day 7.Li River Cruise.
Today cruise the Li River, one of the most mystical landscapes in the
world. The river meanders through steep hills, green fields and offers
spectacular views. Lunch is served on the boat. After your cruise,
return to Guilin by coach.
Day 8.Guilin to Shanghai. This morning you will fly to Shanghai, the largest city in China. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 9.Tour to Suzhou. Journey
by train to Suzhou, one of the oldest and prettiest cities in China.
Visit famous classic gardens, parks and cruise on the Grand Canal.
Return to Shanghai on the evening train.
Day 10.Shanghai sightseeing.
Today's sightseeing includes bustling Nanjing Road and the legendary
Bund, or riverfront esplanade, (heart of the European settlement of the
old Shanghai of novels and movies). Also visit the Jade Buddha Temple
and the elegant Yu Yuan Gardens.
Day 11.Shanghai to your home city. Transfer to your return flight or possibly extend your tour to the Orient.
