BRISAS HOTELS & RESORTS announced the completion of a two year, $20,500,000 major renovation program at Las Brisas Ixtapa. July 2007.
The brands most popular resort now has a new contemporary look with major changes in its guest rooms, hallways, meeting space and restaurants. The work was carried out in two phases and in sections during the past summer seasons to eliminate any intrusions on their guests holiday.
“The architect has exceeded our wildest expectations with the delivery of our Deluxe Grand guest rooms which boast a revamped look with all ocean view terraced rooms that have made Las Brisas Ixtapa a favorite amongst International as well as National customers. The dynamic changes to the meeting rooms, the restaurants and the overall look and feel of the hotel will amaze past customers and entice new customers to return again,” said Higinio de Leon, General Manager.
All of the Deluxe Grand rooms now have pillow top beds, a private sitting area with a couch and a table for two, completely new bathrooms with contemporary fixtures and amenities, mini bars, Satellite TV along with the famous oversized terraces with hammock and lounges facing the spectacular vista presented by the private sandy bay along the Pacific.

Ixtapa has two golf courses, each one meaning a different experience for the golf lovers. Both with 18 holes, with grass cut daily. They're very near from the hotel zone, only three minutes away from the hotel.
