Day 1. Arrive Singapore.
On arrival in this ultra-modern island country, you will be met by our
representative and transferred to your centrally situated hotel.
Balance of the day is free.
Day 2.Singapore sightseeing. An
orientation tour of our city which begins with a drive past the
"colonial heart" for a view of Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House,
Supreme Court and City Hall. Next, we head to Merlion Park and enjoy
impressive views of Marina Bay. Also see the Merlion, the mythological
creature that is part lion and part fish. This is followed by a visit
to Thian Hock Keng Temple before driving through Chinatown. Stop at a
local handcraft center before arriving at the National Orchid Garden
located within the beautiful Botanic Gardens.
Our final
stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks,
jasmine and spices. The afternoon is free for shopping or other
activities. This evening, you will enjoy an evening exploring Singapore
by night. Start with a visit to Boat Quay with its many restaurants and
bars. Then view Singapore's impressive skyline from Benjamin Sheares
Bridge before proceeding to Bugis Street with its very special flavor.
The final stop is the famed Raffles Hotel where you will enjoy the
world-renowned Singapore Sling. Later, you will have dinner at a local
restaurant.
Day 3. More Singapore.
Today enjoy a tour which begins with a visit to the Malay Village
showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Malays and reliving life
in a Malay kampung in the 50s and 60s. From here, we will proceed to
Changi Chapel & Museum to visit the museum and view a replica of
the chapel, which was used during World War II.
En route,
let the guide recount the collective spirit which rose through the
darkest times of the war. The tour continues with a drive through
Changi Village giving you a chance to see the relaxing side of
Singapore. Finally a stop at Tampines New Town, a typical heartland
township of present day Singapore.
Day 4.Singapore to your next stop.
The day is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your
