We'll fly from Cape Town to Hoedspruit for the grand finale of our journey — three nights at &Beyond Ngala Private Game Reserve, more than 36,000 acres of private Big Five wilderness sharing unfenced borders with the greater Kruger ecosystem.
Plus it is the only place in the world where you can see the legendary white lion!
This is the safari experience we've been building toward.

Our South African adventure begins in Cape Town's V&A Waterfront.
The Radisson RED gives us a fun, contemporary home base for exploring the city, Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula.
We'll actually begin the entire journey right here, gathering together for drinks and platters on the rooftop.
It's the perfect place to meet our fellow travelers, raise a glass and realize...

LA COTTE • FRANSCHHOEK
2 Nights
Then we'll trade the energy of Cape Town for the vineyards, mountains and slower rhythm of the Cape Winelands.
For two nights, La Cotte becomes our home in beautiful Franschhoek.
We'll have time to experience the vineyards, ride the Wine Tram, enjoy wonderful food and wine, wander through town and simply enjoy where we are.
Wine country is meant to be savored.
And we're giving ourselves time to do exactly that.
THE GRAND FINALE:
&BEYOND NGALA SAFARI LODGE
3 Nights
And then... Africa gets wild.
For the final three nights of our journey, we'll leave the cities and vineyards behind and enter &Beyond Ngala Private Game Reserve — 36,000+ acres of private Big Five wilderness sharing unfenced borders with the greater Kruger ecosystem. Plus it is the only place in the world where you can see the legendary white lion!
This is the safari experience we've been building toward.

There's something else that makes this part of South Africa extraordinary.
The greater Timbavati and southern Kruger region is the only place in the world where white lions occur naturally in the wild.
And &Beyond Ngala is right in the heart of this remarkable landscape.
These incredibly rare lions aren't albinos. Their white coloring comes from a naturally occurring recessive genetic trait known as leucism, while their eyes and skin retain their natural pigmentation.
&Beyond Ngala has a remarkable history of white lion sightings — and today, &Beyond still describes seeing one of Ngala's legendary white lions as a rare possibility for very lucky guests.
Will we see one?
There's absolutely no guarantee.

You never know what the African bush might decide to reveal.

For three nights, your home in the African bush will be your own thatched Classic Safari Cottage.
Each spacious cottage is approximately 517 square feet, with a private veranda, beautiful ensuite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning and all the comforts you'd expect from &Beyond.

We've chosen restaurants, wine estates and dining experiences that allow us to experience another side of South Africa — from the Atlantic coast and Cape Town's dining scene to the vineyards of Franschhoek and, eventually, dinner beneath the African sky.
Cape Town
We'll start our journey with drinks and platters overlooking Cape Town from the rooftop of the Radisson RED.
The next day, we'll enjoy lunch beside the Atlantic at The Bungalow in Camps Bay, before sailing into a Cape Town sunset with a sundowner in hand.
And when we step off the boat?
We're heading to Marble for dinner.
The following day takes us around the Cape Peninsula, with lunch overlooking the harbor at Harbour House in Kalk Bay, before returning to Cape Town for a completely different kind of evening at SPYCED — a Cape dining experience complete with Djembe drumming.
And that's only Cape Town.
THEN WE HEAD TO WINE COUNTRY. 🍷
In the Cape Winelands, food and wine become part of the landscape.
We'll taste South African wines at Stark-Condé, followed by a picnic lunch at Boschendal.
We'll spend the evening in Franschhoek with dinner at Reuben's.
The following day, we'll board the Franschhoek Wine Tram, visiting the wine estates of Grande Provence and Rickety Bridge, where we'll enjoy charcuterie and cheese along the way.
And we'll finish the day at one of the Winelands' most celebrated destinations, Babylonstoren, with a traditional South African braai.
AND THEN... DINNER IN THE AFRICAN BUSH.
When we arrive at &Beyond Ngala Safari Lodge, everything changes again.
Our three-night safari stay is fully inclusive, with all meals and local beverages included.
